For the past eleven years, I have been blessed with the opportunity to speak at schools and universities worldwide. One of the most dramatic shifts that I have seen when it comes to school culture and student behavior has been the rise of mental health-related issues. When covid spread throughout our school systems in March 2020 education as we knew it changed drastically. The negative impact it had on educators, and even more so students altered the landscape of our schools. By the time the storm had passed, kids were unequipped mentally and socially to deal with “normal” school settings. Mostly every school that brought me in to speak did so for the same problems, disciplinary issues, disrespect towards educators and peers, lack of confidence, and negative attitudes.

Lead From The Front is a program that I created in 2017 and it directly addresses the mental health issues that our young people are currently dealing with. New Jersey has just passed a 60-million-dollar bill for schools to help combat the mental health issue. The video on the right is me describing the program in more detail. My mission is to be proactive and not reactive in regards to mental health and help empower students to be more confident, inclusive, empathetic, and positive. We are currently targeting middle school and high school-age students. I believe Lead From The Front will be a game changer for your students and school culture.
