ABOUT

When we talk about essential workers within our society teachers are almost always left off the list. It is one of the few professions where the expectations are so high it’s almost impossible to meet them. For the last two and a half years students all over the country have had to make a major adjustment in regard to how they learn. Parents who once would drop their kids off at school and leave the teaching to the teachers were now forced to monitor their children’s studies, on top of working a full-time job. But what about the teachers?  Despite having to make the same or even more adjustments, than parents and students, teachers were “expected” to make this new hybrid style of learning seamlessly for all parties involved. When it comes to the next generation of occupants on this earth, it is our teachers who are the first responders. They are the ones that have signed up for this humungous task of helping educate our kids, provide a moral compass, and pump out the best version of themselves on a daily basis, regardless of what they are going through.

Teachers spend so much time pouring into others that their glass is empty when it comes to pouring into themselves.

Our teachers are underpaid and overworked. They spend so much time pouring into others that their glass is empty when it comes to pouring into themselves. Teachers have one of the hardest jobs on the planet, yet they are only truly highlighted when something goes wrong. I personally feel that this is a problem, a major one. We need to uplift the ones that are uplifting our children on a daily basis.

This Positivity Summit is for our teachers.

The men and women who wake up every day to give 100% of themselves to the next group of leaders, firefighters, police officers, lawyers, teachers, etc. We want to create a day to recognize our educators. To pour back into the ones that pour into our children on a daily basis, and to share ideas, triumphs, and tribulations with one another, so we can as a team figure out how to continue to be there not just for our students, but for one another, and ourselves.

On February 18th we are inviting all educators to our Positivity Summit at the Ukrainian American Cultural Center in Whippany New Jersey. This is the first Positivity Summit of this kind, and hopefully the first of many more. This event is for teachers and administrators only.

We look forward to seeing you ALL there.
